Forklift Driver​/Stores Assistant

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced forklift driver with goods in and goods out experience. You will be responsible for supporting the efficient operation of the warehouse by receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining accurate records of stock. The role ensures that materials and products are handled safely, stored correctly, and made available in a timely manner to support business operations.

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to load and unload goods.
• Receive, store, issue, and track inventory in the warehouse system.
• Maintain accurate stock records and perform regular stock checks.
• Ensure safe handling and storage of all materials and products.
• Follow all company procedures and safety guidelines.

• Must have a valid counterbalance forklift licence accepted in-house.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control.
• Good organisational and time‑management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
• Basic computer literacy (inventory systems an advantage).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Working Monday‑Friday 08:00–16:00 with a 30‑minute break for the first 2–6 weeks during training, then moving to a continental shift paying £12.92 per hour.
• Shifts include 06:00‑14:00, 14:00‑22:00, and 22:00‑06:00; flexibility to cover all shifts is required.
