Class 2 Driver - New Passes Considered (Full Time) | Heywood | £14.03ph + Bonus + Holiday Pay + OT at £21ph

VTA Recruitment is currently seeking a reliable and hard‑working Class 2 Driver to join our client’s team in Heywood. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well‑established and growing company that supplies industry traders across the North West. £14.03 per hour + bonus (rate increase after training)

Overtime paid at £21.00 per hour

43.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Working hours:

7:30am - 4:30pm

No weekend work

• Multidrop deliveries throughout North West, teamed up with a Drivers Mate in a 14‑tonne Class 2 Dual Temperature vehicle, running to a preset delivery route.
• Daily walk around and vehicle checks.
• Loading and unloading of vehicle, both at delivery points and on return to the depot, undertaking manual handling duties.
• Warehouse duties.
• Customer‑facing role.
• Handling P.O.D; payments and delivery paperwork.
• On‑job training provided.
• Physical role.
• Manual and automatic fleet.

• Weekly pay – every Friday.
• PAYE contract – no umbrella companies.
• 24/7 support from the VTA team.

• Valid Category C (Class
  2) licence.
• New passes considered.
• Confidence driving manual transmission vehicles.
• Full CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• No DR10 or IN10 convictions.

Not all routes will get a driver’s mate, it will depend on weight of load, number of deliveries and geographical distance away from the depot.

New passes will be considered, dependent on other experience for the role.
