Class 1 Driver - PAYE & LTD Drivers Welcome! The Role
Hire Giant are looking for a reliable and professional Class 1 Driver to work with our client based in Nottingham (NG16). This is an ongoing role doing 3-4 deliveries per day, you may have the odd collection. This is long distance work so you will be required to stay away in the truck all week.
Your responsibilities as a HGV1 driver will include:- Completing deliveries of general haulage to businesses & RDCs
- Driving the class 1 curtainside trailer in a safe manor
- no handball, this is a nice haulage role
- Ensuring all paperwork and PODs are completed accurately
- Maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Valid HGV 1 (Category C+E) Licence
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card
- Strapping and Reversing competence
- New pass LGV1 Drivers welcome training and support provided
- HGV LTD drivers welcome
