The Data and Platform Engineering team are the foundation for the Data Office function. We design, build, and maintain PfP"s data platform to extract data from sources, transform it into usable formats, load it into consumer models and marts, and build and manage the infrastructure to do all this work. Data Engineering are transforming the way PfP consumes data, transitioning from On Premise to Google Cloud.

The Data Engineer is an integral role in our data engineering team. You will be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of data products. You will work closely with Product Managers, Architects, Principal Engineers, and other Data Engineers, using your expertise to solve complex technical challenges and create robust and performant solutions. You will improve existing data products and create new ones, analyze requirements, document your approach, and explain your solution to other engineers and non-technical business users.

You are a talented developer who approaches problems logically, is creative, and can innovate to develop new ideas and produce effective and efficient code. You are a team player who is respected for quality, technical expertise, clear communication, and the ability to deliver.

• Data Engineering with a focus on ETL / ELT
• Languages:
  
  SQL and Python
• Tooling: DBT, GIT, Terraform, IAM, Composer (Airflow), Docker
• Platform: GCP (Big Query) preferred;
  Azure / AWS minimum
• Skills:
  
  Documentation, change management, CI/CD, environment control (dev/prod/test)
• Concepts:
  Data Mesh, Test-Driven Design, Agile
