Our client is seeking a Software Engineer to join a collaborative, high-performing development team building modern, AI-enabled legal technology used by law firms and corporate legal teams globally. This role will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining Microsoft-based software solutions while contributing to a culture of learning, growth, and technical excellence. The Software Engineer will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams in an agile Scrum environment, taking ownership of their work and contributing to the delivery of high-quality scalable products.

• Design, develop, and maintain front-end and back-end software features using Microsoft technologies.
• Contribute high-quality code for new features and enhancements to existing functionality.
• Take ownership of assigned work items from development through completion.
• Investigate and help resolve defects, partnering with senior Engineers on more complex issues.
• Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
• Partner with QA to ensure defects are well understood and resolved efficiently.
• Work with Development Managers, Technical Architects, and Product Managers to deliver assigned requirements.
• Communicate progress clearly and raise risks or blockers in a timely manner.
• Create and maintain technical documentation while following established coding and security standards.

• A few years of experience in a commercial software development environment.
• Solid experience with C# and .NET.
• Experience building Microsoft-based front-end and back-end applications.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript and modern frameworks such as React or TyeScript.
• Experience working in an agile or Scrum development environment.
• Familiarity with Azure services and application hosting is preferred.
• Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Apps, Power Automate, or SharePoint is a plus.
• An AI-first mindset with interest or experience using AI-assisted development tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
