Qualified Social Worker Adults Safeguarding

Nottingham City Council is looking for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join their Adult Safeguarding Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled practitioner to contribute to the protection and well-being of vulnerable adults in the city.

Key Requirements:

Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in permanent roles within Local Authorities Proven experience in Adult Safeguarding work, including conducting safeguarding enquiries under the Care Act 2014 Strong skills in multi-agency working, risk assessment, and collaborative care planning Solid understanding of safeguarding policies, legal frameworks, and best practice Registered with Social Work England Main Duties:
Undertake Section 42 Enquiries and other safeguarding investigations Work collaboratively with partner agencies to deliver timely and appropriate safeguarding interventions Engage with individuals, families, carers, and professionals to identify and manage risks Contribute to case conferences, strategy discussions, and review meetings Maintain accurate and high-quality case records
