Job Title: Renewables Electrician (Solar PV / Battery Storage)

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on experience) + bonus + benefits

Location: Kent & South East (field-based, some office-based work / hybrid)

You’ll join a busy, growing renewables team installing and maintaining Solar PV systems and battery storage across a mix of residential and commercial properties. It’s hands-on, practical work with real variety - new installs, fault-finding, and O&M servicing backed by a busy business investing heavily in the future of home energy.

You’ll deliver high-quality electrical installations to manufacturer standards and current regulations, planning ahead so jobs run smoothly on site. You’ll troubleshoot confidently, complete documentation accurately, and work closely with roofers and other installers to finish jobs safely, on time and to a standard you’re genuinely happy to put your name to.

This is an established renewables installation specialist in Kent and the South East, now part of a wider UK home energy services group. The culture is practical and customer-focused: do it right, do it safely, and keep learning as technology moves fast.

You must hold 18th Edition (BS 7671) and NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations, and you’ll have at least 3 years’ experience as a domestic electrician and plenty of experience installing solar PV & battery storage. Inspection & testing, Part P, or renewables accreditations will help you fit in quickly - but strong domestic electrical competence and a quality mindset matter most.
