Service Engineer

Our clients are a leading independent provider of Fire and Security products with over 25 years trading history with a reputation for outstanding service based around family values. Due to continued growth they are looking for a highly skilled service and installation engineer.

• Responsible for maintaining fire alarm, Access, CCTV and intruder alarm systems to the highest standards, representing the engineering face of the company.
• Carrying out routine services of fire and intruder alarm systems.
• Complete thorough, detailed delap reports, highlighting any potential remedial works as necessary.
• Proactively seek out opportunities to identify, design, plan and execute small works.
• Accountable for own area, ensuring deadlines are met and expectations exceeded.
• Develop relationships with site managers and work closely with Account Manager and Admin Team.
• Provide detailed information to enable accurate quoting of chargeable works.
• Maintain impeccable conduct and deliver the highest standard of customer service.
• Grow your area and make it your own.
• Required to keep concise and accurate records of work completed.
• Personal responsibility to keep up to date with changes in industry legislation.

• The successful applicant will be exemplary in conduct and appearance, possessing excellent communication skills and an inner drive to deliver the highest standards at all times.
• Must have an excellent working knowledge of current legislation pertaining to the design of fire alarm, CCTV, Access and intruder alarm systems including a good all-round knowledge of BS5839.
• A meticulous, thorough approach is required to ensure attention to the finest detail.
• Flexibility, Adaptability and Reliability are vital attributes.
• The applicant will be a self-starter with the ability and desire to manage their work load efficiently, meeting deadlines and achieving a consistently high rate of first-time fixes.
