AV Field Service Technician

Digital Signage | Field-Based (Leeds & Surrounding Areas)

Field-based role with company van provided.

Salary up to £33,000 + overtime.

Covering Leeds & surrounding areas.

Our client is looking for a hands‑on AV Field Service Technician to join their growing service team, supporting and maintaining Digital Signage and LED display systems across Leeds and nearby regions.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a technical mindset who enjoys field work, problem‑solving, and working independently while being part of a supportive technical team.

Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 17:30.

Occasional out-of-hours work for planned maintenance.

Rota-based reactive maintenance cover.

As an AV Field Service Technician, you’ll be responsible for both reactive and proactive maintenance, ensuring high-quality repairs and excellent client service.

• Servicing and repairing Digital Signage, including standalone units, video walls, indoor & outdoor LED displays.
• Diagnosing faults with a "fix‑first" mentality.
• Working safely at height using ladders, podiums, and access equipment.
• Managing on‑site health & safety and maintaining excellent housekeeping.
• Using and maintaining tools, spares, and stock within your company vehicle.
• Completing reports, submitting photographs, and updating your line manager.
• Managing work permits, site access, and security requirements.
• Lone working across multiple sites.
• Maintaining strong communication with internal technical teams.
• Driving safely, legally, and responsibly at all times.

This role would suit someone from an AV, Digital Signage, Telecoms, or Out‑of‑Home Advertising background who enjoys practical, field‑based work.

• Experience with AV, display, or digital signage hardware/software.
• Comfortable working with electrics and basic electrical installations.
• Confident working at height.
• Good understanding of networks and IT systems.
• Fault‑finding and diagnostic experience.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Fluent English (spoken & written).

• IPAF certification.
• Telecoms or Out‑of‑Home Advertising experience.

• Strong problem‑solving skills.
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Flexible and adaptable.

• £28,000 – £33,000 per annum (depending on experience).
• Overtime available.
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
