Joiner or Multi-Tradesperson

Express Recruitment are delighted to be representing a Property Management company based in Nottingham that are looking to hire a Joiner or Multi-Tradesperson on a full time permanent basis to join their team.

The successful candidate will carry out specialist joinery works and general maintenance and building works across residential and commercial properties while reporting all new works and maintenance issues to the management team.

Their ideal candidate will have demonstrable Joinery experience with experience in a secondary trade highly desirable from the following:
Plumbing, Carpentry, Building, Roofing, Decorating and Plastering. Due to the nature of the role, a full clean UK driving licence will be required to apply for the role.

For the position, the company is offering a generous salary of up to c £36,000 per annum, company van, PPE, uniform and tools provided. Overtime is available plus opportunities for call out bonuses. All daily travel is paid for.

• Travel across the Nottinghamshire area to residential and commercial properties
• Carry out general maintenance and building service works
• Perform a range of joinery and carpentry duties including hanging doors, building kitchen and bathroom cabinets and laying flooring
• Report new works and maintenance issues to the management team
• Respond to emergency call outs when scheduled on the rota

• Apprentice trained or NVQ Level 3 qualified in Joinery and Carpentry
• Proven hands on experience in a trade such as Plumbing, Carpentry, Building, Roofing, Decorating or Plastering is highly desirable
• Hard working with a good attitude towards maintaining high standards of work
• Full clean UK driving licence
• Confident customer service and client relationship skills
• General knowledge of Health and Safety practices
