Description
Working Hours: 37 hours per week – required between 6am and 8pm, Monday to Friday.
Salary: Grade G per annum.

About the Role
As an experienced plumber you will contribute to the provision of high‑quality rented housing, achieving high tenant satisfaction and safeguarding health and safety.
You will be responsible for installing and maintaining plumbing for personal hygiene and sanitation, including wash hand basins, showers, baths, sinks, toilets, foul drainage, waste pipes, rainwater goods, inlet gulleys, and inspection chambers. You will also undertake drainage, heating (non‑gas) and other plumbing works, including adaptations for disability, within NCC Housing Services responsibility. Use skills of other general trades to achieve first‑time fix when efficient and appropriate.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience of working in all aspects of plumbing works
- Qualified certified & trained to NVQ3 or C&G Advanced Craft
- Full and valid driving licence
- Experience communicating with customers with differing needs
- Experience investigating and testing to identify faults and root causes, implementing lasting solutions
- Well‑organised, methodical approach to tasks, with prioritisation skills
