We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated PDI Technician to join our team at Vertu Volkswagen Nottingham South
, working from our offsite preparation facility in Langar, Nottingham
.

We offer a competitive basic salary between £29,200 and £35,720
, depending on your skills and experience. This is based on a 41‑hour working week, with Saturdays paid as overtime, plus the opportunity to earn an additional over‑performance bonus.

As a PDI Technician, you’ll play a vital part in delivering the exceptional customer experience we pride ourselves on—built on trust, transparency, and high‑quality workmanship.

Working from our Langar prep facility, you will:

• Carry out pre‑delivery inspections (PDIs) on new and used vehicles
• Ensure all work meets the highest standards and adheres to manufacturer guidelines
• Work efficiently within agreed time frames while maintaining excellent productivity
• Uphold our commitment to first‑time fixes and outstanding customer service

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

• A relevant Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 qualification
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician
• An MOT licence (preferred but not essential)
• Your own tools
• A full UK driving licence
