We are looking for a reliable and motivated Trainee Tail Lift Engineer to join our team in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with mechanical knowledge who is looking to start a long‑term career in the tail lift and commercial vehicle industry. Full training will be provided.

• Assist with the servicing, maintenance, and repair of tail lifts on commercial vehicles
• Support experienced engineers during inspections and breakdowns
• Learn to diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
• Carry out safety checks and ensure equipment meets required standards
• Complete basic paperwork and job reports
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean working environment
• Travel to customer sites as required

• Clean UK driving licence (essential)
• Some mechanical knowledge or experience (essential)
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills
• Good problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Salary of £27,500 per annum
• Monday to Friday working hours – no weekends
