, M-F 07.00‑08.00, £12.60 per hour.

• Protect our customer’s property, people and assets by providing security services in direct accordance with the site’s published Assignment Instructions (AI’s) and any subsequent changes.
• Deliver results that meet and/or exceed Key Performance Indicators / Service Level Agreements, providing a service that helps retain the contract.
• Undertake additional training to ensure continuous self‑development.

• Ensure compliance with all policies, legal and regulatory requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager and in accordance with UK law.
• Fully complete all tasks and duties on site as defined in the Assignment Instructions.
• Review and familiarize yourself with any changes in the Assignment Instructions; suggest amendments to improve service level.
• Maintain a front‑line licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision) and a CCTV PSS SIA licence, wearing them at all times.
• Comply with all legal obligations and safety requirements of the role.
• Follow instructions and procedures appropriately, without unnecessarily challenging authority.
• Work systematically and orderly.

• Complete all required competency training.
• Take additional training as directed by the Security Account Manager.
• Use technology to achieve key work objectives and develop job knowledge through continual professional development.
• Renew licence 16 weeks before expiry.

• Report any Health & Safety hazards immediately.
• Stay alert to threats or changes, acting to reduce risks of disruption, loss or damage.
• Use common sense and involve others if a situation becomes threatening.
• Maintain professional conduct in difficult situations.
• Record incidents promptly in a notebook for the Incident Report process.
• Adhere to schedules and demonstrate commitment to Mitie and the client.
• Ensure checks are conducted at the allocated time slots per the Assignment Instructions.
• Call emergency services and Communication Centre for all incidents.

• Previous security experience.
• SIA License.
• SC Clearance desirable.
