Location RequirementThis role is based in Northern England
. Ideal candidates will be located in or around the North East, North West, or Yorkshire & Humber regions (e.g., Newcastle, Sunderland, Durham, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield, Bradford).
Candidates outside these areas, including the Midlands or South of England (e.g., Derby, Birmingham, London), are not eligible unless there is flexibility for frequent travel and relocation.
- Drive incremental sales through face-to-face customer interaction.
- Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients & partnerships.
- Be the voice & presence of Scruffs Workwear Ltd across the Northern UK
.
- Visit customers to install Point of Sale / Fixtures and merchandise stock for optimal appeal.
- Maintain and develop relationships with current clients through regular visits to existing National Accounts, such as Builders Merchants & Electrical Wholesalers.
- Review and adjust Point of Sale to drive sales and encourage additional stock orders.
- Regularly contact existing customers to monitor stock levels and support additional orders.
- Report findings to Head of Sales and the team, suggesting improvements from store visits.
- Assist with National trade shows, trade days, and customer mornings.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, particularly in Agricultural and Painter/Decorator markets.
- Understand company products, competition, and market positioning (full training provided).
- Support the sales team with customer queries and ad-hoc business projects.
