Role Overview

Reporting to one of our National Account Managers, we are seeking a proactive and commercially driven Sales Executive to support and grow sales performance across a defined portfolio of key customer accounts.

Based at our Nottingham office, this role will focus on strengthening customer relationships, supporting key accounts, developing new business opportunities , analysing data and driving revenue growth.

The successful candidate will have some existing sales experience in a B2B environment, and will be able to demonstrate strong sales administration and customer engagement skills along with the ability to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities. Occasional travel to UK customer sites will be required.

We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic and focused individual with the potential to become a senior salesperson in the future. The desire for strong career progression in the world of sales is essential.

Sales & Business Development
  • Support the delivery of sales targets through activity across a defined portfolio of customer accounts
  • Identify new sales opportunities with existing and prospective customers
  • Proactively manage sales enquiries, quotations, and follow-ups
  • Assist in the development of strategic sales plans for key accounts
  • Support the sales pipeline and conversion of opportunities into orders
  • Work closely with internal teams including marketing, operations, and customer service
Customer Relationship Management
  • Act as a key point of contact for customers, providing high levels of service and support
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
  • Handle customer enquiries efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate responses
  • Support customer visits and meetings as required
Reporting & Administration
  • Maintain accurate customer and sales data within CRM systems
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback
  • Provide insight and recommendations to support sales growth
  • Ensure all sales processes align with company procedures and policies
Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in a B2B sales support or commercial position
