Sales Specialist

We’re looking for a Trade Sales Specialist to grow and manage relationships with Trade customers across the North West. You’ll work closely with B&Q/Trade Point teams, visiting stores and job sites to deliver exceptional service, training, and product support—while driving sales growth and customer loyalty.

This is an exciting role for an experienced sales person with experience working within the Trade or Retail sector. The Trade Sales Consultant is primarily responsible for driving and increasing Trade business sales within the North West. As such, responsible for growing, developing, maintaining and managing the overall relationship with new and existing Trade customers on behalf of Sherwin-Williams, B&Q / Trade Point. This responsibility requires 60% of time spent at the customers’ job sites and business locations, including meeting with and further developing business customer relationships.

Through this effort, the ultimate goal is to increase Sales penetration within assigned region.

In this role you will be responsible for...

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Trade customers and store teams
• Identify and grow new sales opportunities across the region
• Deliver product demonstrations, training, and job-site support
• Collaborate with Territory Sales Consultants and the Head of Trade on new business leads
• Ensure accurate customer data and activity tracking in SFDC

What we are ideally looking for...

• 3+ years’ sales experience in Trade, Retail, or related industry
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience selling to contractors or strategic accounts
• Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings/weekends
• Valid driver’s license
