We are currently seeking a customer focused Trade Counter Assistant to join our busy Trade Counter based in Nottingham. As a Trade Counter Assistant, you will play a key role in overseeing the day‑to‑day operations of the Trade Counter, ensuring customers receive a first‑class service.

• Provide an excellent level of customer service to both new and existing customers
• Proactively engage with customers to identify and maximise sales opportunities
• Accurately process new orders and enquiries
• Confidently communicate product knowledge to support customer needs
• Assist with general warehouse duties, including picking and packing of goods
• Support the Sales Office by answering calls, processing and amending orders

• Previous experience in a customer‑facing role, ideally within a trade or retail environment
• Strong organisation skills with the ability to multi‑task
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solving
• Experience using ERP systems is advantageous but not essential (full training provided)
