A Primary School in Longsight, Manchester is seeking an experienced and organised School Catering Manager to lead the day-to-day running of the school kitchen. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with catering experience who enjoys working in a school environment and takes pride in providing healthy, high-quality meals for children.

You will be responsible for managing food preparation and service while ensuring the kitchen operates safely, efficiently, and in line with food hygiene and allergy regulations.

• Preparing and serving daily school meals
• Managing the day-to-day running of the school kitchen
• Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene
• Following and maintaining food safety procedures
• Managing food allergens and ensuring safe practices for pupils with allergies
• Supervising kitchen staff where required

• Previous experience in a catering or kitchen leadership role
• Training or certification in food hygiene
