Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Band 6 Nurse or District Nurse (SPQ) to join our friendly and supportive Community Nursing Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, compassionate nurse who enjoys leadership, values teamwork, and is passionate about delivering outstanding care to patients in their own homes.
As a Community Nursing Sister/Charge Nurse, you will have a key role in managing a caseload of housebound patients with complex needs, ensuring care is safe, effective, person-centred and evidence based. Working closely with the Team Leader, you will provide day-to-day clinical leadership, support and supervision to colleagues, act as a positive role model, and contribute to the ongoing development of community nursing services.
You will bring strong post-registration experience, either within community nursing or from a role with clearly transferable skills. Alongside excellent clinical ability, you will demonstrate effective caseload management, good organisational skills and a commitment to continuous service improvement.

Responsibilities- Support the day-to-day running of the Community Nursing Team in partnership with the Team Leader
- Ensure the team consistently delivers high-quality, safe and effective patient care
- Provide leadership, guidance and clinical support to nursing staff
- Contribute to a 7-day service across North East Hampshire, working within a rota covering 8am–8pm
- You will also work collaboratively with other Band 6 nurses across locality teams as part of a wider, supportive leadership network.
