A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Plater Welder to join a highly modern, fully automated, fast paced manufacturing facility. Following significant recent investment, this site represents one of the most advanced operations in its sector, offering long term stability, technical challenge and genuine progression opportunities.

This role would suit a skilled Plater Welder who is looking to further develop technically within a heavy industrial environment, with clear pathways available into senior engineering or supervisory positions.

The Job Role of the Plater/ Welder

You will be responsible for carrying out fabrication, welding and structural repair work across a range of automated production plant and equipment. This will include heavy plate fabrication, structural modifications, reactive breakdown support and planned preventative maintenance tasks to ensure maximum uptime, safety and operational efficiency.

Working closely with the wider engineering team, you will play a key role in maintaining site reliability standards while contributing to continuous improvement projects and plant upgrades.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Plater/Welder:

• Experience as Plater/Welder in an industrial environment
• The ability to MIG/ARC Weld
