Are you an experienced Plater with a strong background in structural steel? We’re recruiting for a busy, well‑established engineering and fabrication facility producing large‑scale infrastructure steelwork for major UK projects. This is a full‑time, workshop‑based role with consistent hours, long‑term stability, and plenty of overtime for those who want it.

• Full plating role working on heavy structural steel
• Reading & working from complex technical drawings
• Using fabrication machinery (press brake, guillotine etc.)
• Marking out, cutting & fabricating heavy‑gauge steel
• Working with mild steel from 10mm‑100mm+
• Producing bespoke and high‑quality components

• Proven experience in the structural steel industry
• Ability to confidently read technical drawings
• Heavy gauge plating experience
• Strong attention to detail & commitment to quality

Monday to Friday 07:00 - 16:00

Overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours; plenty of overtime available.
