Production Supervisor

Overview

Robertson Recruitment are seeking a proactive supervisor to oversee daily operations within a busy manufacturing facility. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant site operations while driving performance, quality, and team engagement. You will lead from the front supervising operatives, maintaining high safety standards, and ensuring materials are processed effectively to meet environmental and operational targets.

06:00am - 18:00pm

4 on 4 off day shift

• Supervise day-to-day operations across the manufacturing environment and processing areas
• Lead, motivate, and support a team of site operatives
• Ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety regulations and environmental compliance standards
• Conduct daily briefings and toolbox talks
• Manage shift rotas, attendance, and performance standards
• Identify process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce contamination
• Liaise with transport teams, site managers, and external contractors
• Respond promptly to operational issues and escalate where necessary

• Previous supervisory experience within manufacturing, logistics, or similar operational environments
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• Organised with strong problem-solving abilities
• Competent with basic IT systems for reporting and compliance tracking
• Forklift or plant machinery experience (desirable but not essential)
