Permanent Position

CNC Milling Machinists requited immediately for our precision engineering client based in Nottingham. The role will involve either programming or setting and operating a variety of CNC Milling machinery.

Duties:

* Programming or setting and operating milling machines (online)

* Using different control systems including Fanuc, Siemens and Heidenhain

* Maintaining high quality standards such as ISO 9001

* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and job cards

* Producing bespoke components that are made to order

* Selecting appropriate tooling and fixtures for specific jobs

Person Specification:

* CNC Milling experience is essential

* Programming experience would be preferred, however strong setting and operating experience would be accepted

* Worked with a wide variety of materials including aluminium, stainless steel and mild steel

* Ability to work from technical drawings and use measurement tools

* Pro-active and well-organised approach in order to maintain workload

* Relevant mechanical qualifications would be beneficial

The Package:

* Up to £17.00ph depending on experience

* Permanent position

* Immediate start

* Day shift, Monday to Friday

* Overtime available, paid at time and a half
