Maintenance Engineer

South Nottingham | Food Manufacturing | Day & Night Shift Contract

We are recruiting for a Contract Maintenance Engineer to join a busy food manufacturing site in South Nottingham. You will provide engineering support to production, carrying out both reactive and planned maintenance to ensure plant and equipment operate at maximum efficiency.

This is an opportunity to join a modern, well-invested manufacturing facility operating within a busy and fast-paced production environment.

• Multi-skilled Contract Maintenance Engineer (electrically biased)
• Reactive and proactive maintenance across plant, equipment and auxiliary systems
• Support production to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency
• Ensure planned engineering tasks are completed on time and in full
• Maintain high standards of repair and manufacturing practice
• Complete planned maintenance documentation and CMMS records
• Contribute to cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives

• Qualified Maintenance Engineer (C&G, NVQ Level 3, ideally ONC/HNC)
• Apprentice trained
• Multi-skilled with mechanical and electrical experience
• Food or FMCG manufacturing experience essential
• Proactive approach to fault finding and supporting production

• 4 on - 4 off shift pattern / adhoc shifts
• Days & Nights
• 12-hour shifts, 6am-6pm / 6pm-6am

• £35.00 - £45.00 per hour through accredited umbrella company (PAYE)
• Inside IR35 - shift cover
