x2 Assembly Technician - Rig Build / Workshop
OverviewThe post holder will be part of a team responsible for assembling, testing, and supporting filtration systems used in industrial and mobile equipment. The role ensures products are built to specification, meet quality standards, and function reliably to support equipment health and predictive maintenance programs.
Responsibilities- Assembly and manufacture of filtration units, sensors, pipework, hoses, fittings, pumps, and enclosures.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, bills of materials (BOMs), and work instructions.
- Perform mechanical and basic electrical assembly tasks to defined specifications.
- Conduct pressure testing, leak testing, and functional testing of assembled units.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and rectify assembly or component issues.
- Complete quality checks and documentation in line with internal quality standards.
- Maintain equipment and report any faults with systems or tools to the relevant staff.
- Adhere to all Health and Safety policies and maintain tidy work areas free from hazards.
- Mechanical assembly experience, specifically with hydraulics, pneumatics, or industrial equipment.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
- Basic understanding of electrical components and wiring.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work as a proven team player.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet production deadlines.
- Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling and standing for extended periods.
- A trade qualification or technical certification in a mechanical or hydraulic field is preferred.
