My client based in Colwick is currently looking for a Production Operative to join their manufacturing team. This is a hands‑on role within a fast‑paced production environment, supporting the manufacture of high‑quality gas cylinders to exacting standards.
Shifts:
- 0600–1400
- 1400–2200
- 2200–0600
Finishing early every Friday and paying £12.78 per hour, weekly pay with a shift allowance and O/T available.
Key Responsibilities- Operating production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
- Following standard operating procedures and work instructions
- Carrying out manual handling tasks as required
- Performing basic quality checks to ensure products meet specification
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area in line with health & safety standards
- Working collaboratively as part of a team to meet production targets
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (preferred, not essential)
- A strong awareness of health & safety practices
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work reliably as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and be flexible across different production tasks
