A well‑established engineering business is seeking an Interim Managing Director to lead a key business unit through an important phase of strategic and operational development. With strong technical capability and international reach, the business is focused on strengthening its commercial performance, delivery consistency and organisational structure.

• Shape and execute a clear plan to enhance profitability and long‑term resilience
• Strengthen commercial focus and prioritisation of the right customer opportunities
• Improve On Time In Full delivery, quality and operational consistency across UK & European sites
• Embed strong financial reporting, KPIs and performance management
• Lead, coach and align multi‑functional teams, fostering accountability and collaboration

• Proven experience in interim or permanent MD / senior P&L leadership roles
• Background in engineered solutions, automation or complex B2B environments
• Experience delivering business improvement, transformation or turnaround programmes
• Strong commercial and financial leadership skills
• Experience working with multicultural teams (European exposure an advantage)
• A pragmatic, hands‑on leadership style with the ability to quickly create impact

• A high‑impact interim mandate with significant influence
• Scope to strengthen structure, performance and market focus
