You will help to oversee the implementation of POW's new strategy, to ensure we get back to providing the vital support we have been trusted for and relied upon for many years.

• Trustees ensure their charity has a clear strategy and that all decisions put the needs of the service users first.
• They safeguard the charity’s assets – both physical assets, including property, and intangible ones, such as its reputation.
• They make sure that the charity is run sustainably.
• They hold the leadership team to account and provide support and encouragement to them.
• Trustees are jointly responsible for all their decisions and work together to ensure the charity delivers its aims.
• They support the CEO.
