Senior Practice Accountant

Overview

We are currently working with a well-established and growing accountancy practice based just outside High Wycombe, to recruit an experienced Senior Account Manager
.

This is a rare opportunity to join a small, friendly firm at an exciting stage of growth, with a clear and realistic progression path to Account Director and ultimately Practice Manager as the current Directors begin to reduce their hours.

The practice is based in beautiful settings and offers a supportive, collaborative environment where senior team members genuinely influence how the firm develops.

• Managing a portfolio of SME and owner-managed clients
• Acting as the main client contact and trusted adviser
• Reviewing statutory accounts, management accounts, and tax work
• Preparing accounts and tax for more complex clients
• Liaising with HMRC and handling enquiries
• Mentoring and supporting junior team members
• Leading client meetings and identifying advisory opportunities

• ACA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualified
• Strong experience within an accountancy practice
• Confident managing client relationships end to end
• Commercially minded with strong communication skills
• Comfortable mentoring staff and working closely with Directors
