My client is on the lookout for an Electrical PAT Technician to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

To carry out portable appliance testing on customer premises to agreed maintenance standards in an efficient and cost‑effective manner, you must ensure that all compliance paperwork and job updates are completed in a timely fashion.

• Completing the PAT testing schedule within agreed timescales and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures.
• Identify non-repairable faults in appliances and promptly advise the Line Manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement.
• Ensure that compliance documentation is completed and up to date at all times.
• Advise the on‑site customer (manager) of any repair and maintenance issues that are likely to affect the smooth running of the site.
• Attend training courses as and where necessary and to ensure personal job skills keep pace with technical developments.
• This role requires a high degree of working away from home generally 3-4 days per week.

• Educated to GCSE / Standard Grade level as a minimum.
• C&G 2377 / 77 Portable appliance testing qualification.
• Minimum 1 year experience.

£28,458.50 + overtime + travel time

40 hour week

Travel time paid after half hour each way

OT paid at 1.5x Mon - Fri / 2x Sat-Sun
