My client is seeking a proactive, technically strong IT Manager to take charge of their modern, blue chip IT environment. This is a hands‑on role perfect for someone who enjoys owning systems end-to-end and working with the latest Microsoft technologies in a fast‑paced, professional setting.

You’ll lead the day‑to‑day running, improvement, and security of the organisation’s core IT services. From modern workplace technologies to on‑prem and cloud infrastructure, you’ll ensure everything runs smoothly while driving continual enhancement.

• Manage and optimise IT infrastructure:
  Servers, networks, storage, and cloud services.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra , Intune, Defender, and related tools.
• Oversee IT operations, resolving incidents and delivering excellent support.
• Maintain strong cyber security practices and ensure compliance with standards.
• Lead small to medium technical projects.
• Manage suppliers, IT policies, documentation, and asset registers.
• Work with internal teams and partners to ensure a secure, reliable, scalable environment.
• Contribute to future IT strategy and improvement initiatives.

• Strong hands‑on experience in a technical IT role.
• Expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra, Intune, Defender, and Windows Server.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and device management.
• Confident managing projects and external suppliers.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and ownership skills.

• Experience with cyber security frameworks (eg, Cyber Essentials).
• Understanding of ITIL.
• Exposure to compliance/governance.
• Relevant Microsoft or security certifications.
