The Role:Technology Project Manager
This is a delivery coordination role for someone who thrives on structure, clarity, and momentum.
You will not be designing technical architecture or writing code. Instead, you will make sure the right work happens at the right time, in the right order, with the right visibility. You will bring discipline to planning, transparency to risk, and calm to complexity.
Reporting to the Director of Technology & Digital, you will act as the central coordination point across technical teams, programme leads, and business stakeholders. You will help Etio balance ambition with capacity, protecting delivery commitments while enabling progress across a growing portfolio.
You will:- Coordinate multiple technology initiatives across programmes, ensuring delivery plans are realistic, aligned, and sequenced effectively.
- Maintain and evolve the Technology & Digital roadmap, providing visibility of dependencies, capacity, and constraints.
- Support prioritisation decisions by surfacing trade-offs clearly and constructively.
- Protect agreed commitments by highlighting the delivery impact of new or shifting demands.
- Create clarity around risks, issues, and blockers, ensuring they are surfaced early and managed proactively.
- Translate delivery information into accessible updates for nontechnical stakeholders.
Lead the coordination of technology initiatives across multiple work streams.
Maintain integrated delivery plans and roadmap views aligned to organisational priorities.
Ensure initiatives are appropriately sequenced based on urgency, risk, and available capacity.
Stakeholder Coordination & CommunicationAct as the key coordination point between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Provide clear updates on delivery progress, risks, and changes to expectations.
Support stakeholders in understanding trade-offs, constraints, and delivery implications.
Priority & Roadmap ManagementOwn and maintain the Technology & Digital roadmap.
Provide visibility of delivery capacity and dependencies to inform prioritisation.
Safeguard agreed priorities and manage scope impact when changes arise.
Resource CoordinationWork closely with technical leads to understand availability and feasibility.
Coordinate resource allocation across project and business-as-usual activity.
Identify and surface resource conflicts, supporting resolution through structured planning.
Maintain visibility of delivery risks across the technology portfolio.
Proactively identify risks linked to capacity, timing, or complexity.
Escalate issues early with clear articulation of impact and mitigation options.

- Strong organisational capability, including experience maintaining integrated plans, release schedules, or roadmaps.
- Confidence engaging both technical and nontechnical stakeholders, translating complexity into clarity.
- A proactive approach to identifying and escalating risks before they become blockers.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and operate effectively in evolving environments.
- A focus on outcomes, not just activity, you measure success through delivery impact.
- Significant experience coordinating technology or digital delivery across multiple initiatives.
- Experience producing structured status reporting such as executive summaries, RAID logs, or steering updates.
