Data Analyst – Data Transition

This role focuses on analysing and translating data between legacy and future‑state systems, rather than reporting or dashboarding. You’ll work at the intersection of business, data, and technology, ensuring data is accurate, aligned, and fit for purpose throughout the transition.

• Analyse and compare current-state and future-state data.
• Map data between legacy and target systems.
• Identify gaps, risks, and data quality issues.
• Validate future-state data against business and regulatory needs.
• Work closely with business, data engineering, and architecture teams.
• Document data mappings, transformations, and findings.
• Support testing during system migration and decommissioning.

• Strong background as a Data Analyst in complex data environments.
• Advanced SQL skills (including translating logic from tools such as SAS).
• Experience with legacy system migration or SAS decommissioning.
• Proven data mapping and gap analysis experience.
• Financial services background (insurance preferred).
• Strong analytical skills and clear communication.
