Director, Engineering DI&F

This key engineering leadership role is based in Nottingham, UK and will lead US, UK and India based engineers.  The individual will be accountable for implementing the engineering roadmap, working with LSEG technology architecture to ensure alignment with the technical strategy. Key skills and experience:
Degree level qualification, preferably in Computer Science or related field with 10+ years of relevant experience

Deep knowledge and experience of Microsoft & Azure development architectures and tooling

Deep experience solving sophisticated API, distributed architecture and data problems

Experience with use cases involving highly restricted data Strong change skills and deep experience in modernizing sophisticated stacks.

Ability to manage the change and relationships across developers, operations, product, legal, compliance and clients spanning many individuals.

Worked in agile SDLC, have a product mentality and experience working in organisations with modern product management practices. Experience managing geographically dispersed teams, in a matrixed organization. Comfortable working in a multi-location multi time zone environment, with remote stake holders and dependent teams Ability to put customer first and partner closely with product, sales and operations teams to craft solutions for clients.

Experience working across multiple functional disciplines, including security, compliance, legal, and other engineering functional teams. Strong communication and presentation skills including the ability to build relationships and effectively communicate across multiple management and organizational levels.underpin our purpose and set the standard for everything we do, every day.
