Senior Director – R&D IT Infrastructure // Platform Building // Pharma // Remote

You are an IT infrastructure engineer with significant experience within drug development companies (biotech or pharma).

You want to lead & drive the design, integration, and governance of IT systems supporting R&D, acting as the strategic link between technology and scientific functions to ensure compliant, efficient, and innovative digital operations across clinical and regulatory domains.

We are working with an Italian pharma who specialise in developing drugs for rare and complex diseases within ophthalmology, CNS, and immunology. A private company with significant resources, an impressive clinical pipeline, a long-term view, a dynamic, fast-paced mindset, and a real track record of success. They are looking to hire an R&D IT Infrastructure Engineer to build an integrated platform from the ground up.

You will have autonomy, influence, and visibility. This is a unique opportunity to build their R&D IT infrastructure from scratch, replacing unintegrated “off the shelf” tools. Your work will have a real impact on the clinical and regulatory performance of the pharma, improving patient outcomes.
