A fast‑growing, technology‑led SaaS business is looking for a Dev Ops Engineer with Security Ownership to help scale and secure a modern cloud platform. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys owning infrastructure, improving reliability, and embedding security best practices into everything they build.

You will work closely with engineering teams to design, deploy and secure cloud environments, while taking clear ownership of Dev Ops and security foundations as the business continues to grow.

Role: Dev Ops Engineer (Security Focus)

Salary: Up to £80,000

Location: Nottingham – Hybrid, 2 to 3 days per week in the office

• Owning cloud infrastructure across AWS and modern containerised environments
• Designing, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Embedding security best practices across infrastructure, deployments and access controls
• Leading on cloud security, monitoring, incident response and vulnerability management
• Improving system reliability, scalability and performance
• Working closely with software engineers to support smooth releases and deployments
• Automating infrastructure using infrastructure as code tools
• Helping shape Dev Ops and security standards as the platform scales

• Strong experience in a senior Dev Ops or platform engineering role
• Hands‑on experience with AWS and cloud‑native architectures
• Solid background in CI/CD, containerisation and automation
• Proven experience taking ownership of security in production environments
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or similar
• Strong understanding of monitoring, logging and incident management
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced SaaS or digital product environment

• Salary up to £80,000 depending on experience
