Room Attendant - Zero Hours - Eastwood Hall, Nottingham
As a Room Attendant at Eastwood Hall, you are responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest comfort throughout the hotel's bedrooms and assigned areas. You will ensure all guest rooms are cleaned, serviced, and prepared in line with company standards, creating a welcoming and relaxing environment for every guest. Key responsibilities include making beds, replenishing amenities, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming and dusting, reporting maintenance issues, and ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures.
You will work efficiently both independently and as part of the housekeeping team to meet daily room targets and support overall guest satisfaction.
- Deliver consistently high standards of cleanliness and presentation across all guest bedrooms and assigned public areas.
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail when servicing rooms, ensuring all amenities are replenished and fixtures meet brand standards.
- Collaborate with the housekeeping and wider hotel team to ensure rooms are prepared efficiently and on time for guest arrivals.
- Support operational planning by prioritising daily room allocations and adapting to changing occupancy levels.
- Uphold health, safety and hygiene procedures in line with company and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and report maintenance issues promptly to minimise disruption to the guest experience.
- Contribute to a positive guest journey by responding courteously to guest requests and maintaining a professional presence at all times.
- Protect guest privacy and security by following established policies and procedures.
- This role requires strong attention to detail, good time management, physical stamina, and a positive, friendly attitude.
- Prior housekeeping experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training is provided.
- Experience in hospitality operations, housekeeping, or a customer‑facing environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Passion for guest experience and service excellence.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Physically capable of performing manual handling and repetitive tasks.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Understanding of health and safety standards within a hospitality setting.
- Right to work in the UK.
