Overview
We are looking to appoint a less than full time Breast Radiologist to support the service expansion of the breast department. The successful candidate will join our team of 2 Consultant Breast Radiologists and 3 Advanced Clinical Specialists working within the integrated service of the North Derbyshire Breast Screening Service and Symptomatic breast service based at Chesterfield Royal hospital.
We are particularly interested in candidates who are competent in delivering a wide range of Breast services across all modalities, as well as achieving high reporting standards in a range of imaging examinations.
Candidates with a keen interest and experience in teaching are welcomed;
Chesterfield has general radiology trainees as well as Breast trainees from the Nottingham training scheme.
Candidates wanting to support the general department, including general oncology cross sectional imaging, will be supported should they wish to do so.
Responsibilities- Deliver a wide range of Breast services across all modalities and achieve high reporting standards in imaging examinations.
- Participate in teaching with general radiology trainees and Breast trainees from the Nottingham training scheme.
- Support the general department, including general oncology cross sectional imaging, as desired.
- Engage in clinical quality improvement and develop clinical leadership where interested, with support from the Trust.
- Discuss flexible or predictable working arrangements with the service to accommodate needs where possible.
