Principal Clinical Psychologist
OverviewBand 8b, 30‑hour contract, Community CAMHS Looked‑After Children Team (CAMHS City CLA) – Nottingham/Nottinghamshire.
Responsibilities- Provide specialist assessment and intervention for children and young people with complex mental health needs.
- Deliver clinical leadership, supervision and consultation to a skilled team of clinicians.
- Contribute to service development, quality improvement and strategic planning.
- Work closely with families, schools, social care and other health professionals to provide psychologically informed care.
- Supervise other CAMHS psychology colleagues and support joint working across the multidisciplinary team.
- Participate as a member of the senior leadership team within the CAMHS Looked‑After Children service.
- Postgraduate doctorate in clinical psychology accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS).
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Relevant experience within a CAMHS other relevant provision.
- Evidence of ability to lead within a multidisciplinary mental health setting.
- Experience working with children and young people up to 18 years old.
