Senior Pharmacist – Pharmacy Production

Join the Pharmacy Production team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH). We need a pharmacist to support safe and efficient pharmacy production services.

• Assist in preparation, assembly, manufacture, final check, and release of medicinal products in the Pharmacy Production departments.
• Provide oversight and management of pharmacy production services at NUH.
• Work in Sterile Production Unit (SPU) and Cytotoxic Chemotherapy Production Unit (Cytolab) as service demands require.
• Maintain and develop safe, compliant manufacturing processes.
• Promote NUH Production Units as a centre of excellence to internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform ward‑based clinical duties if desired, to maintain clinical competencies (subject to agreement).

• Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
• Post‑registrar hospital pharmacy experience, preferably within a production environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
• Team‑player with motivation to provide safe and effective medicines.
