Highly specialist Speech and Language Therapist
We have a great opportunity for a Highly Specialist SLT in the NUH Neuro Rehabilitation Outpatient Team. Neuro Out-Patients offer specialist multi‑disciplinary assessment and interventions for adults with a range of neurological conditions. We require an SLT with highly developed clinical skills and a passion for working with this client group. You will be joining a close knit well‑established MDT. The service is predominantly based at City Hospital but where clinically indicated patients are seen in their own homes.
The post is made up of 0.6 WTE sessions within the Neuro Rehab Outpatient Team, with 0.4 WTE sessions in the inpatient Stroke team currently, with a possibility of these sessions covering Neurosurgery (not yet confirmed). You will be part of a large dynamic SLT service where you will have peer supervision and the opportunity to collaborate with other SLTs at NUH who also deliver inpatient and outpatient SLT.
There are opportunities for training and development of your clinical and leadership skills. This is a full‑time post but part‑time requests will be considered. There may be an additional requirement to work on weekends and bank holidays as part of a rota.
