Calling all Antimicrobial Experts! – Locum Band 8a Senior Pharmacist 🌟

An NHS hospital in North West England is looking for a dynamic Senior Antimicrobial Pharmacist to join the pharmacy team on a locum basis
. If you’re passionate about optimising antimicrobial use, improving patient outcomes, and driving best‑practice stewardship
, this could be the role for you!

• Leading Trust-wide antimicrobial stewardship and ensuring evidence‑based prescribing
• Providing specialist input on microbiology ward rounds and infection cases
• Supporting and monitoring OPAT patients
• Developing, updating, and auditing antimicrobial guidelines (CQUINs)
• Delivering AMS training and contributing to infection control & quality improvement

• GPhC-registered Pharmacist with a Postgraduate Clinical Diploma
• Strong hospital pharmacy experience
• Significant antimicrobial/AMS expertise
