Finance Business Partner role Heritage sector Flexible working Summary A key commercial finance role supporting senior leaders with budgeting, forecasting, and performance insight. Ideal for a qualified accountant with strong business partnering experience, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to non-finance stakeholders. The Role You will act as a trusted partner to budget holders, providing high-quality financial insight and driving effective decision-making across the organisation. Produce timely, accurate management reporting and analysis Lead monthly management accounts processes in collaboration with Finance Business Partners Support budgeting and forecasting cycles Undertake ad-hoc financial analysis to optimise resources Contribute financial expertise to projects and funding bids Main Duties You will be central to ensuring strong financial stewardship and accountability within assigned departments.

Lead financial monitoring and dialogue with budget holders Produce monthly management accounts, commentary, and analysis Support annual budgets, forecasts, and planning Maintain chart of accounts and ensure data integrity Provide training to non-financial managers and support year-end processes The Successful Candidate A qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) with proven business partnering experience Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong Excel capability Confident communicating financial information to non-finance colleagues Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment Adaptable, customer-focused, and comfortable supporting occasional out-of-hours activity What’s on offer?
