Senior Auditor

Overview

My client, a well-established practice in Surrey is going through a period of unprecedented growth and seeks to complement its audit team with a newly, or nearly, qualified chartered accountant with previous audit & assurance exposure gained in a mid-sized firm, looking to take the next all-important step up.

• Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Reviewing the work of junior colleagues as well as coaching and supporting them in their development.
• Utilising a range of technological solutions in addition to strong people skills to deliver a quality service, on time and on budget.
• Working in collaboration with the wider audit team.

• ACCA/ACA nearly or newly qualified
• Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, auditing & financial reporting standards.
• Experience in planning and leading audit engagements
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational and presentational skills
• Strong time management skills with a proven ability to prioritise workload
• Confident communicator, able to liaise with clients at different levels of accounting knowledge
