Financial Accountant

We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join a leading organisation in the Manufacturing industry in Nottingham.

The role will focus on financial reporting and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Financial Accountant in Nottingham who has recently qualified, close to finishing their Accounting qualifications or Qualified by Experience.

• Prepare accurate financial reports in accordance with accounting standards.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and regulations.
• Support month-end and year-end financial close processes.
• Manage reconciliations and maintain general ledger accuracy.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and analysis.
• Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
• Identify and implement improvements to financial processes.
• Provide support for financial planning and budgeting activities.

• Professional accounting qualifications (newly qualified) or be working towards completion with study support available.
• Strong balance sheet / financial controls knowledge.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles.
• Experience in the Manufacturing industry or knowledge is advantageous
• Proficiency in financial software and tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Able to commute to their offices 5 days a week in Nottingham.

• Competitive salary between £45,000 and £50,000 per annum.
