Are you seeking exposure to a broad range of high-value banking transactions in a collaborative nationally recognised team. Our clients Banking & Finance group is known for its sharp commercial edge and is the go‑to advisor for complex matters acting for major UK financial institutions, challenger banks, specialist lenders and a wide range of borrowers across the UK, Europe and the US.
The Opportunity- Advise on general banking acquisition finance, real estate finance, project finance and asset-based lending
- Draft and negotiate facility agreements, LMA agreements, credit agreements and related documentation
- Act for major clearing banks, challenger banks, specialist lenders and borrower clients
- Support private equity management teams and debt funders on a range of debt structures (including unitranche and mezzanine/second lien)
- Work on real estate acquisitions, investments, developments and portfolio management
- Engage in business development activities as part of a rapidly growing national team

- Qualified solicitor (England & Wales or equivalent) with 47 years PQE in banking & finance
- Strong technical and negotiation skills
- Experience drafting facility agreements and related banking documentation
- Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence engaging with clients and colleagues at all levels
- Team player with a proactive can‑do attitude and the ability to work under pressure
- Exceptional attention to detail, discretion and professionalism
