Head of Finance

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Head of Finance to join the leadership team and play a pivotal role in driving financial performance and supporting business growth. This is a critical position within a dynamic manufacturing environment, overseeing two sites and providing strategic and operational financial leadership across the UK business.

UK division of an International Manufacturing business with ambitious growth plans, site located close to the M1, North of Nottingham City centre.

Broad Financial leadership role, and key part of the Site Management team.

• Prepare and present monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and ad hoc financial reports.
• Manage full P&L and Balance Sheet, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
• Oversee banking, cash flow management, and group financial KPI reporting.
• Lead annual statutory accounts and external audit process.
• Ensure accurate VAT returns, tax management, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Manage and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Provide financial support for strategic projects.
• Conduct cost management, profitability analysis, and financial modelling to support decision‑making.
• Oversee payroll, insurance, and legal financial matters.
• Partner with other departments to drive business efficiency and profitability.
• Maintain regular communication with Group and key stakeholders.

Qualified, hands‑on Head of Finance, with strong team management skills and experience within a high volume manufacturing business.

£80‑90k plus car, full time onsite in Nottingham.
