Senior Accountant

Senior Financial Accountant | Nottingham | Hybrid

I am delighted to be working on an exclusive basis with this high growth PE-backed business, to recruit a Senior Accountant.

You will play a pivotal role in overseeing the company's financial accounting operations for this highly acquisitive company. Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for producing group financial reports and facilitating the month/year-end close processes, contributing to the overall continuous improvement of internal controls.

The Job:

• Prepare financial models aligned with the financial plan.
• Prepare and present high-quality financial reports.
• Involvement in the group’s short and long planning process.
• Support the implementation of new processes to improve financial efficiency and reporting accuracy.
• Coordinate and support the internal and external audit process.
• Legal entity rationalisation, balance sheet controls, treasury management.
• Consolidating results across multiple UK entities.
• KPI forecasting and reporting, providing sound commercial commentary.
• Integrate new acquisitions into group processes.

Requirements:

• Proven track record in a similar role within a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and technical skills.
• Resilient self‑starter who identifies problems and implements solutions.
• Excellent level of accuracy and attention to detail with a methodical approach.
