Join us as an apprentice and you’ll play an important role in helping our customers take control of their energy use, whether that’s at home, in their business or as part of a city community.
Embark on a three-year accountancy/taxation apprenticeship, working towards a professional qualification while gaining practical experience. You’ll work with diverse teams across the business through six‑month placements during a fully‑funded Level 7 apprenticeship that leads to ACCA status and is studied part‑time through Kaplan. During the programme you can select placements based on your interests and career goals, such as:
- Financial planning and forecasting
- Financial performance reporting and commentary
- Closing the financial accounts each reporting period in accordance with international financial reporting standards
- Financial analysis and insight to help inform business decision‑making
- 3 A levels at grades A‑B (excluding general studies) and 5 GCSE at grades 9‑4/A‑C including Maths and English language (or equivalent), or
- AAT qualified (level
4) or equivalent other professional body qualification, or - Graduate with a 2.1 degree or above from a recognised university equivalent to a UK bachelor’s degree
